I wanted to pass along that I was told by the utilies and water departments that there was a reason for the recent water shortages / outages.

For those who haven't been home to notice, on a couple of instances recently, we either had poor water pressure to no water at all at least two to, I have heard three seperate times. Twice that I noticed myself.

One - when digging somewhere in the mass of construction recently they hit a ''main supply line''.

Two - they were stubbing into the new subdivision area and caused a problem.

Three - the road trucks (?) that have large water tanks apparently were ''filling up'' and depleted a large reserve in our area.

''Naturally'', they claimed, all these issues should be resolved over time as they complete all the construction which will supplement or enhance their ability to provide to our area. A couple of those instances (the trucks and digging accident) were cause-based occurrences that are not typical so hopefully, we won't see much more.

And of course, in this heat, most of us are attempting to maintain our lawns and the consistent watering hoses and sprinklers running all over are exacerbating the problem.

In due time, I suppose but please let either myself or another member of the board aware of any continued problems so we can be aware as well and will continue to report it to O.B. Public Works.

Thanks very much,

Mark Dickey
