Your statement:
''If the town ceases to exist, and the Farm and other communities to our North continue to expand, there will be a great deal of pressure to make the Buckley-Richfield connection a major thoroughfare.''
My response: IF the town ceases and IF the farm and other communities... It appears that you are trying to sell FEAR
(False Evidence Appears Real). You are supposing that Arapahoe County wants to expand Richfield. It doesn't per Bryan Weimer Arapahoe Manager of Capital Improvements. Stop with the false information. Get proper information before you use this forum as a means of accomplishing who knows what.
Before one stands on a soap box and condemns a citizen initiated petition, you as a Trustee of the Town should listen to your electorate and abide by their decision.
No one is condemning the trustees of this town. They are all good people doing the best job they can on a part time basis. That in and of itself does not constitute that the job they are doing is a good one for the citizens of a town. This area (we presently call Foxfield) has a mutiplicity of problems and ever growing concerns that a part time government can not handle.
