Town Meeting
June 20th , 7 p.m.
Parker Fire Station #2
A Discussion of Foxfield Roads
Foxfield residents and board members have worked since April to evaluate proposals and approaches to improve our town roads. Sub-committees were
formed - Maintenance, Paving Alternatives, Calming, and Financing.
There will be two town meetings dedicated to the discussion of roads ?–
June 20th and July 31st.
The June 20th meeting will solicit input on how residents want
Foxfield roads to ?“look and feel?” - safety , calming, drainage, aprons for
walking and equestrian riding, paving alternatives, financing, etc.
Each of the road sub-committees will present information.
The town has selected WRC Engineering to define the scope of work for
paving alternatives and to manage the design and construction of town
roads. WRC will present the process they recommend for the scope of
work, design, construction, and management of construction.
Financing alternatives will be discussed by Alan Matlosz of George K.
Baum & Company.
At the second town meeting on July 31st, WRC Engineering will present
the paving alternative(s) and not-to-exceed cost.
With input from Foxfield residents, an initiative to improve the town
roads will appear on the November ballot.
