We have residents who are volunteering to clean up a portion of Parker Rd. in the ''Adopt a Highway'' program. I think that is wonderful and very exemplary.

However, maybe a better use of their efforts might be to ''Adopt a Foxfield Road''. Why not put the effort into cleaning up the streets of Foxfield before they venture out of the town?

I realize that it is their choice to clean up whatever street they want. I also realize that I am not one of those interested in cleaning up Parker Rd. However, I may be interested in an ''Adopt a Foxfield Road'' program.
