The Franklin Park Civic Association is a 501(c)4 non-profit corporation doing business in the State of Ohio as the Franklin Park Area Association. FPCA is in the process of filing a change of name with the Ohio Secretary of State.
Founded in 1974 as the Franklin Park Area Improvement Association, the name was changed in 1997 to the Franklin Park Area Association, and in 2012 to the Franklin Park Civic Association.
The Franklin Park Community is located in Columbus, and lies to the south and west of the park itself, between Broad Street and Main Street and Wilson Avenue to Alum Creek.
To celebrate, nuture and develop the Franklin Park Community for the benefit of all its inhabitants by demonstrating a compassionate understanding of each individual's needs while honoring our history and providing for our future.
The Association meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday at 6:30pm in the lower level of the Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, 1777 E. Broad St. The Association does not meet during December. Annual meetings of the general membership are held in January.
