Franklinton

I have lived in Washington state for the past 35 years and prior to that served 20 years in the army around the world. I've been back to Columbus maybe half a dozen times in the past 51 years. I grew up on W.Rich street in the projects in the 40's and 50's. I had family living on McDowell & Town street, Chapel and Walnut. All of my friends lived on Lucas; McDowell and Town streets. Some of their names were Donny & Karl Maier, Preston and Terry Miller, Tom Moore, Paul Irwin. My grand parents had a house on the corner of Town & McDowell, it's no longer there. I believe there's some kind of repair shop there now. I went to Fieser elementary school on Starling street, Starling Junior High, and Central High.
