That may be the beginning of the $$ question not only those who should be cut, but what sort of benefits will the city pay such as the part time council members who get $20,000 health and dental benefits > etc...

What do you think?

I think there is too much going in our City Government which the city residents never know about.  We are in the 21st Century.  There is no reason the agenda AND minutes of all Boards and Commission are not posted for public review.  While anyone can go view the minutes at the City Clerk's Office (if they are indeed filed) why can't we access from the comfort of our home, on the bus to work, at school, or at the library.  The Secretary of State provides a free method to post agenda and minutes online.

I for one do not consider Call to Order, receive previous minutes, public input, adjourn an agenda.  If there is no purpose to meet then don't.  If there is purpose give the public the information to be discussed so that I might offer my insight.  I may have valuable input, and that is what Public Input is all about.

Transparency is the issue.  Let's not have our City Government operate in a vacuum.
