New Retail Trends in the Gaslamp Quarter

On the horizon: We already have Urban Outfitters (5th & G), Lucky Brand Dungarees (just north of 5th & Market) and the Hard Rock Caf?© (4th & F). We are also expecting TGIFriday?’s and Red Fish restaurants (on 5th, between F and G), which will opening before we know it. Also in the works is Borders Books & Music (6th & G) and Gameworks (F & Market plus 6th & 7th). These are all much anticipated additions to the Gaslamp Quarter landscape.

But did you know that three separate developers plus Seaport Village anticipate leasing retail space to IMAX Theatres, Barnes & Noble, Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Anthropolge, House of Blues, Old Navy, The Cheesecake Factory, Wolfgang Puck and even Starbucks? It?’s true. Look for these and other great retail spaces to begin dotting the local landscape within the next year or so.
