Does anyone have any idea about how we can address the pruchase of the wet lands behind our backyard? We were all deeded dock access when we purchased our homesites and as it turns out the City sold the few feet between all of our homes and the water for $100.00. It figures to about $2.50 per homesite. This new owner ''John A DeSalvo Trust'' is now charging us $20,000.00 to use our backyards to access the water we were supposed to be deeded to use. Has anyone received the letter I am referring to? The purchase is noted in the Duval County Property Appraisor's site - real estate #162113 0000. It is now called Waste Land. Did anyone ever see a notice of rezoning on these wetlands????
