we were promised so many things before we moved in...we were told we will have another pool, club house, street lights, and none of these things have come to pass...we lived here for 18 months and have not seen any changes...someone came around in December to let us know that the street light will be put up in Feb...(didnt happen)we were told you are not allowed to park you cars on the street for a long period of time...(people do it)we have 3 empty lots that is an eye sore..(we were told thats where the club house will be)..on battery point it is so dark and with people parking there cars on the street, i'm afraid someone will have an accident...there are kids playing in the streets & cars do not obey the speed limit..we need speed bumps...the pool & tennis area is in desperate need of a good cleaning...our homes are just as nice as the other communities in the area but the neighborhood can do better..

Nothing happens without faith
This is our 13th year in Drayton @ Carriage Point and the battle is still the same. Homeowners still refuse to pay their homeowners association dues. It was always and still is, by law, the responsiblity of the homeower to do this. If you do then God bless you, if you don't then shame on you. Club houses can't be built, street light can't be installed, road humps can't be produced without full co-operation of all of us. My complaints right now are loud radios, fast cars (mostly young kids) and the lack of support (dues) from the majority of the homeowners. Nothing will get done without all of our support. I hope this will happen in my lifetime. God bless. J. Oliver By J. Oliver |
