I had only spoken with Don Peckinpaugh a few times before this month. Each time he was rather short with myself or my husband and has not responded within a reasonable amount of time (24-48 hours, but we just shrugged it off. Well, within the last few weeks we had what we thought was a slab leak. I called Don at the management agency's number, left a message detailing the problem, and did not hear back in two days. When I called back, I was able to get him on the phone and he told me that there was nothing he could do and that I should call a plumber. We got ahold of our plumber and he requested that we call the hoa and find out how to get the water turned off, since our water valve was corroded and needed to be replaced. I called several times before I got through to anyone at the agency. Dan did return my calls but left no info. on how to get the water shut off. I tried calling him back several times and never heard back. I was very frustrated, so I called the city of Glendale to find out what I needed to do. Jerry, I believe, from the utilities department called the company asking what was going on. I got an immediate response back from someone at the agency and got the go ahead to get the water turned off. It took me much effort on my part to get an answer to a simple question. So, I am frustrated with both Don and the company he works for. I am not sure what to do about this other than post this and come to the next meeting. I don't even know if anyone will read this, but hopefully someone will.
