my neighbor wants to build a 2-car garage and guest house and is asking the city for 2 variances, hearing to be on dec. 6th at 9:30 glendale city planning dept.

first variance is from 10 feet to 5 feet from property line, and 2nd variance is from height of 12 feet to 21 feet! this structure would also be too close to my giant california live oak and monterey pines. he has already made what once was a 1 bedroom adobe house in a grove of oaks to a multi- million dollar completely enclosed estate compound. he already has a 2-car covered garage and a carport for 2 cars. he also bought 1/2 of the empty lot next to him and another portion of land from neigbhor to opposit side, how can i stop his overbuilding?
