I recently noticed the Google ads that appear on the right side of our webpage. They are an attempt by the neighborhoodlink folks to bring in some revenue to help stem the ever-increasing costs of hosting the many webpages around the USA. I inquired if they could be removed from our page, snf found out that they appear on all webpages and cannot be removed from just one webpage. I figure if these ads help to keep our GERC webpage free, we will have to put up with them, as long as they are decent.

We support Neighborhood Link

The Neigborhood Link folks were very responsive to my concern for unrelated ads posted on our website. Since then I have noticed that most of the ads are somewhat relevant to our theme of emergency preparedness. Also I recently received a survey from the Neighborhood Link folks asking what other features we would like to see free on our webpage. They provide a great service to us!
