Glendora Emergency Response Communications

The Boy Scout Centennial Council Jamboree operations of GERC on May 21 and 22 were very successful in my opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed staying overnight in Jim's beautiful motorhome. I want to than Jim for his great first class cooking and hospitality!  I would also like to thank the following hams for their participation without whom our operations would not have been so successful! You guys are the greatest!

 I forgot to mention  the fine participation at the Jamboree by Greg, HS0ZHM in Thailand!  Greg got on EchoLink to hold  a few QSOs with our K6U station. Many thanks to Greg for his International contact!   We hope to hear a lot more from Greg at the upcoming Field Day wher he will be contacting the Boy Scouts at our Radio Merit Badge session.

I am also thankful to all who participated in the jamboree.  Especially Jim Dowdle who was so nice to us with his hospitality. He is an amazing man.

Next subject.

The Ingram's want to know when the next HAM Class is going to be held.  They are anxious to get their Ham Licenses so they can talk to each other on the air.
