WARNING! There have been several reported thefts of checks from mailboxes
in the Gleneagle community involving a
substantial amount of money. Theives can
easily 'wash' checks and retain your
signature, changing the amount and payee. The El Paso County Sheriff and
postal inspectors are investigating but
advise everyone to deposit letters with
checks directly in post offices.
