NYCHA RESPONDS TO TENANTS
Public Housing Residents of Lower East Side sent thousands of letter to John Martinez, Chair of NYCHA and to Andrew Cuomo, Secretary of HUD regarding Section three. In a recent publication, Housing Authority Journal, he states that ?“recently I received a sizable number of inquiries regarding the Section Three Program. Based on the nature of the inquiry, since ever letter was exactly the same, except for the sender, I thought that perhaps each of you who read the Journal would be interested in the current status of the Section 3 Program.?” Mr. Martinez will be attending the Public Meeting on Section on Thursday, December 14 which will be held at PS 15, 333 E. 4th Street at 5:45. Please come to let him know how important this issue is to you.
