Adopt-A-Block is a way for concerned neighbors to keep track of municipal code violations in the neighborhood, and report them to the city's Rapid Response team in an orderly and centralized manner.
At our monthly meeting, the neighborhood gets divided up based on who wants to participate. Once a person has an area to inspect, they make an inspection and write down any pertinent violations and give this report to the Adopt-A-Block leader. In addition, they would keep an eye out for any major problems so that they can get reported right away.
