Drive 25

Someone else made the point that if you are driving 25 you can pretty much stop to avoid. I believe this is true.

Wrong !!! I'm in law enforcement and you can't beleive how many kids get hit by drivers that were going the 25 mph speed limit. When a kid jumps out from behind a parked car, you haven't got a chance. There are not many parked cars here in BBF, but there are a few. The street is not a playground. It's YOUR job as a parent, to protect them, you can't control how fast some jerk drives through our neighborhood.

So where are you lawmen to stop the speeders?

Sorry, but the lawmen do a fine job. He is correct, it is almost impossible at 25 mph to stop when a 2 year old jumps in the street chasing a ball. People should not have to turn into their cul-de-sac and have to avoid 10 5 and unders playing in the street. That's why we have backyards. And the worst is, I have had to stop short for a 3 year old, heart hammering and his mother is nowhere in sight......all I am saying is, watch your kids and don't blame the drivers.
