Louisville Metro recycling opportunities have been expanded. The newest drop-off recycling center is located at the Lyndon Fire Department, 8414 Westport Road.
There are now 17 recycling drop-off centers located in strategic areas to serve suburban residents who may not have access to curbside recycling service. The new location is unattended.
Residents may recycle the following items: newspapers, boxboard, magazines, glass bottles and jars, phone books, plastic bottles and jars, aluminum cans and foil, computer paper, brown paper bags, household batteries, steel cans, and corrugated cardboard.
