John Allen states: ''Confirmation from the state that the sound barriers at Westport road will be installed at the time of construction of the new interchange.''
OK. It looks like they will have sound barriers at the interchange itself.
But do the proposed barriers go from Westport Road all the way up toward Brownsboro Road? We need to have protection for the Graymoor-Devondale residents along Carlimar and nearby streets. Does the plan call for protection of these homes?
If the construction plan does not include these safety measures for Graymoor-Devondale residents, are the City officials willing to work aggressively on our behalf?
Again, could we have an official comment here and in the newsletter?
