I have lived in Candlelight for 34 years and it did not used to be this bad. There was a time when the residents used their driveways and took good care of their property. But those days are long gone! I continually see my property value decrease by the month. I think this has a lot to do with all the rental properties in the neighborhood, many of them section 8. These people do not care about the property values in this neighborhood because they don't own the property that their living on, and don't intend to. I could'nt even count how many times I have told someone that I live in Candlelight and they have gave me the "yuck" face. And a lot of them have told me that they hav'nt even been through the whole neighborhood, they are just making their judgement from what they can see from Outer Loop. I can't imagine what they would say, or the face they would've made had they drove through the whole neighborhood and seen the countless number of cars lined up and down the streets. I won't even go through the back of the neighborhood anymore, it's like driving through an obstacle course. I have lived in Candlelight my whole life, and it's neighborhoods like what this one has become, that give the southend a bad name.

Well hello neighbor, I live in scottsdale, you said it, the yuck look! I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN! We have the same problem in Scottsdale down the road from you,, and it will not stop,I have complained, others have, still no signs nothing. Also to the post that said you would be fined for parking in your yard, oh no you won't,park up in your yard or pull in the back, just don't park in the front grassy area it;s comon sense people, I can understand a death or sick person, but it is a consistant thing over here ion scottsdale and I know in candlelight i have been thru there. People please repect your home, and have repect for others, in this time of resession we are losing values in our homes, we don't need uncaring people to add to it by pure laziness, i do wish the police would step it up, and give parking tickets more than $10 or $15 dollars, come on now, who do they know in this neigborhood they ARE BEING WAY TO EASY ON THE STREET PARKERS. |
