Greenridge North Subdivision was built in an area referred to as the Aldine Prairie between the years of 1966 and 1974 outside the city limits of Houston. It was one of the first subdivisions to have deed restrictions which were supposed to help keep up the safety and appearance of the subdivision and so maintain the property values at the highest possible level.

June of 1969.
* Evelyn S. Thompson Elementary an Aldine ISD
school opened its doors in the
neighborhood on Casa Grande in January
1971.
* Greenridge North was annexed into the city
of Houston until 1976 and shortly after
the city bus service came to the area.
* Greenspoint Mall 2.3 miles away opened it's
doors in July of 1976.
* Greenridge North is a subdivision made up of
1189 homes.
* A neighborhood swimming pool is located at
225 Glazebrook.
* Bayous are on three sides of the subdivision.

The Greenridge North Community Service Corp. refered to as GRNCSC is an organization comprised of every homeowner headed by a group of 7 homeowners elected by the body of homeowners in Greenridge North Subdivison for the purpose of maintaining the subdivison as a whole.
Through the upkeep of the subdivisons deed restrictions, pool and other common interests our property values can be kept at the highest possible level benefiting all who live or own homes in Greenridge North. Plus the benefit of having a safer, better looking place to live.
Everyone who buys a home in Greenridge North becomes a member of the GRNCSC when their home is purchased and is required to pay a yearly maintainance fee.
It is the responsibility of every homeowner to participate in the decision making of the subdivision by attending the homeowners meetings.
