Gulf Meadows Civic Club

my husband & I have lived in gulf meadows for over 30 yrs, wonderful place to live. I enjoy reading the newsletter. We are concerned about two issues that we think should be of concern & thought something could be written in the newsletter.

**first issue:  when mowing our own yards people should sweep up all grass clippings not just leave out on the street for the wind to blow into our gutters!

***second issue:  all back yards should be mowed & not used for storing abandoned cars or horses. Last month we had an incidence where a business was robbed & burglars hid in abandoned cars that a homeowner has in their back yard.

Where exactly is Gulf Meadows?  I am trying to buy a house around that area, it says the neighborhood is Gulf meadows 2.  I wanted to know how the area is, is it calm or is there lots crime around?  Its the one by Jones park. Do you know anything about this neigborhood?

South of Hobby Airport off Hwy 35/Telephone Rd.  We have 4 sections, section 1 is off Greensworth, section 2 off Fuqua near Jones Park as are sections 3 & 4.  Yes we have crime so far it is moderate.  Let us know if you find an area that doesn't, the joys of big city life.
