Gulf Meadows Civic Club

AH club still operating and more frequently-As I pass by there to go to work-obviously, these folks dont work-I am seeing it open on a regular basis.  I call on officer Harris to look into this-as a reliable source (an individual who works/worked there) told me that they serve liquor way past 2:00 p.m.  I reported this club to her once and her response was-Look into what, now you have something to look into.  Sylvester and other canidates complain about gangs and who knows what they are doing about it-I cant say for sure that the folks that are hanging out there are gang members-but, you can rest assured they are not on the church choir and/or on the dean's list at UH.  Crime is going up in the neighborhood-I dont think everything that takes place makes the newsletter.  We need more HPD patrols.  I want to see them patrolling on a regular basis-not see a squad car once or twice in 10-20 years-JG
