"the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" - Yes I know but why do my fellow conservatives insist on taking the bizarre extreme position that the 2nd amendment advocates no gun control? We make strict laws regarding all kinds of rights guaranteed to us by the constitution.
We conservatives make ourselves out to be a lunatic fringe when we advocate no licenses for automatic weapons or some other insanity and then run home to the 2nd amendment when somebody points out how ludicrous a position we are advocating. Please, conservatives, STOP doing this, or at least explain to me why we need to cling to this tired position until our political enemies pry it from our politically cold dead fingers....
