All Denver Public Library programs are free and open to the public. If you don?’t have a library card and want one, all you need is a picture ID and proof of a Colorado address. Children under 13 need a parent?’s signature.
LIBRARY PARKING is still an exercise in patience and self-control. And there?’s a remedy that most patrons are ignoring. First Avenue has been re-striped between Poplar Street and Oneida to allow two hour parking for 20 vehicles on the north side of that avenue. Check out the striping and parking signs in that looooong block, just to the west of Poplar. You might have a bit of a walk to reach Schlessman, but hey, it?’s good exer-cise and your nerves will be less frayed than if you?’d competed for a spot in the lot.
