Were you pleased to discover how many gallons you had saved when your last bill arrived from Denver Water? If not, here are some conservation tips: fix leaky faucets, flush toilet only when necessary, get a shower head you can turn off while shampooing and lathering, turn off faucet when brushing teeth and shaving, run dishwasher only if it?’s full, cut back on laundry, chill drinking water in the refrigerator, scrub vegetables in a pot of water ?– not under running water, and soak pots and dishes with caked-on food rather than using the heavy duty dishwasher cycle.
