The following rules apply to parking on single unit residential property.
1. Parking on unsurfaced areas such as on grass or dirt is prohibited.
2. Allowable parking at single unit dwellings is limited to surfaced areas. Surfaced areas are defined as one of the following: a layer of road base material composed of gravel, the layer 4 inches in thickness; a concrete surface; an asphalt surface.
3. Occupants of a dwelling unit may store one personally owned inoperable motor vehicle inside of a completely enclosed garage. you may work on this vehicle in your garage provided that you own the car, work only in the garage, restrict work between the hours of 8:00 am and 9:00 pm, and do not do any auto body repair or auto painting. you may only park or store one inoperable vehicle per dwelling unit and you may not work on cars you do not own.
4. A wrecked vehicle involved in an insurance claim may be stored temporarily provided it is covered with a fitted car cover.
5. for multiple unit dwellings, as well as at businesses, parking is restricted to paved surfaces.
6. Occupants of a dwelling unit may perform customary maintenance outdoors such as washing, fluid changes, brake repair, engine tune-ups, or other minor repairs provided that they are done on a driveway or in a parking space between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.
