Agreed.  I didn't ask the city for these containers and they didn't ask me if I want them.  I use my garage to work on my car in, a project that will take God knows how long, and don't want to smell my garbage all week.  Also, it permeates the door from the garage to the house and is horrible.  To put it behind my fence I have to contend with mud and add additional foot traffic to the little grass I have on that side to place garbage in the can during the week and then to haul the containers out and back in twice a week.  It's just too much hassle and I'm not to keen on wearing a trail in my yard.
