Storage sheds in back yard

Posted in: Castlegate

I just bought a home in Castlegate and was wondering about storage sheds.  I have not received anything from HOA yet.  I drove around the neighborhood and noticed several "items" that are visible from the road and homes.  I for one, do not care if someone has a shed, playset, or trampoline visible.  I know that some HOA's are ridiculously strict on visible structures in bacyyards (this is a horrible rule in my mind).  But my question is, since majority of storage sheds are taller than my wall, is it ok to have a storage shed that sticks up about a foot from my wall?  Thanks!

Storage sheds are allowed, but there are guidelines that must be followed.  Click on the link ::: http://www.mycastlegatehome.com/10.html ::: Then dlownload the architectural request form and fax or mail it into Oasis.  Their phone, fax, and mailing address is on that website as well.  While on that website, you can locate the CC&R's and Design Guidelines by clicking on the appropriate links.  The Design Guidelines outline the rules for changing your property (adding a shed).  Hope this helps.

That did help, a shed under 7 feet shouldnt be a problem to find at all, thanks!
