Thank you for your participation in the Hamilton Highlands Subdivision Discussion area. I'd like to take this opportunity to clear a couple things up concerning your replies.
Dogs on leashes: Obviously, some people are not aware of the laws or they would not be running loose. Would you still feel the same if you, your child or grandchild were attacked by a dog running loose?? It is also safety for the dog. It would be a tragedy for the animal and it's owner if it were hit by a car.
Commerical vehicles: This ''club'' did not make the rules regarding commericial vehicle parking. They were made by the City of Columbus and are also reiterated in our deed restrictions. You may think it's no ones business, but it is! These vehicles create safety issues as well as ruin our neighborhood. When these vehicles are parked on the corners of the sub-division, blind spots are created obstructing a drivers view. Several people have almost collided in these corners. This is a residential area for families. It is not warehouse parking. It detracts from the beauty of the neighborhood. Everyone does live their own lives, but it is also not necessary to add unnecessary risk to everyone. It all boils down to being considerate of your neighbors.
Keep it up: Thanks so much for your snide remark!! It's nice to know that the last 3 years I have invested into this ''club'' as well as the money (my own-not the club's) I have invested to help this community are so appreciated by you. I don't know who posted that message, it could have been another ''board member'' as you put it but at least one person cared. Well, this will make you happy. This ''board member'' is resigning at the meeting Wednesday. I've had 3 years in this ''club''. You could volunteer for the positiion in the ''club'' and take over my duties of secretary/treasurer--then you'd be sure of where all the money goes since you think it goes in my pocket. You could also spend all the endless hours on the work that you think is so worthless. But I guess since you despise the ''club'' so much, you wouldn't be interested.
