If I am unable to make it to the next meeting, please bring up the issue of pets being out of the owner's yards. I walk my dogs everyday (2 Huskies), and everyday find myself chasing other dogs away. I am an animal lover, but I will not be held responsible for another pets injuries if my LEASHED dogs are approached by another stray dog. So please people be responsible pet owners and keep your dogs restrained. Another thing, dogs do go to the bathroom while walking, so take a plastic bag with you and clean up after them. It's not hard to do plus the neighbors will have more respect for you and your pets.

I agree 100%! I don't walk my 2-80lb dogs anymore because I've been approached too many times!
Not only that, but you're putting your pet in harms way. We will bring up the issue at the next meeting, but hopefully the leash law will be in effect by then! I'm a huge animal lover as well, but a neighborhood isn't the place to let pets to run free.
Thanks for bring up this issue, and I'll keep my eye out for ya! I have a black lab and husky/shephard mix! They're MY babies! I'll give a wave~ :)

I agree people should be responsible pet owners. We are in the process of doing the newsletter and I'll try to put a reminder in there concerning the problem.
