I'd like to discuss a problem I've seen, and I'm sure other neighbors have seen it, and our "visitors". Our neighborhood is getting "cluttery" looking. So many boats, trailers, campers, 3-4 vehicles per home. Sections of fence fallen. There's so much debri between homes, wood & rocks. I just hate to see our community become so messy and uncared for. Not for just home value, but for beauty & pride. Let's clean up  HAMILTON  HIGHLANDS!!!

I totally agree with you.   I have also seen some of the "cluttery" looking areas around the neighborhood.    Some of the problems could be fixed by mowing and trimming.   A yard with weeds and grass growing around 8" - 12" long is not very becoming to the home nor the community.   I  understand that some of the homes may have been foreclosures, in which case you can turn the problem into code enforcement.   The bank/mortgage company that has taken possession of the home is still responsible for the maintenance of that home.    And yes, it is not just for home value, but for beauty & pride.   It also makes a better presentation of our community to prospective buyers.  Hopefully, this is just a temporary problem not a permanent trend.

Grove.... thanks for your input on the clutter in our subdivision. apparently it IS a trend. No one else seems to have a comment on this issue. When we moved here, the main reason was the up keep of the neighborhood. We could see people took pride in their homes, & yards, etc.  And most still do. But, we have those few that won't even pick up their cig. butts!!!!!  AND, throws them on other's property. And just a mess in yards & sides. I just hate to see Hamilton Highlands become as a couple other divisions close by. Sad....... takes little effort to maintain neatness, & beauty of one's home.
