Blocking sidewalk playing cornhole

Posted in: Hamilton Highlands

First chance I've had to check in on the Cornhole situation.  Holidays have kept us all busy.  It is a New Year, so my theory is Out with the Old and In with the New.  I hope cooler heads prevail and all is now right with the world and my favorite little community and all its inhabitants.  I believe if the sidewalk drinkers perhaps could use beer can covers hopefully this will appease the non drinkers.  As for the cornhole games themselves, the sidewalk seems the best place for the actual games as a flat area is needed.  If walkers appear I am sure that everyone will move and greet them with a smile and a howdy neighbor attitude.  As for the nay sayers who appear to have a different agenda than actual cornhole or beer drinking hopefully the New Year will bring you peace and I am sure if you are trully unhappy in your neighborhood a for sale sign can be added to your home.  I know that many people would love to move into such a kid friendly area with parents who are so involved in daily interaction with their children and neighbors children.  I would suggest if you do take these steps to move on to what you might consider a better living situation that you actually sit out front of the house you wish to move to.  This will enable you watch your possible new neighbors to ensure that they are not the same type that live in your present neighborhood.  Could I suggest a retirement type community without kids may meet your needs.  Now don't get me wrong I am not trying to be smart alec and mean to you, I have just not ever witnessed the types of posts that obviously place you as very unhappy with your situation in Hamilton Highlands.  Living in a place that makes you unhappy can be very upsetting and I only wish you happiness and this community is not up for that task, which is honestly such a shame.  Good luck to you all of you. I love driving through this neighborhood and seeing so many people out and about and living the dream.
