For all of you in the neighborhood who don't want this HOA, we all need to get together and start going to these meetings. Lets vote each other in and break it apart from the inside. So Nancy, when and where is the next meeting?!!!

Lucas, thank you for understanding what is going on.  I posted an explanation  and within that explanation is a set of questions already in the hands of NNI.  I have asked Jim Rice of NNI to read the post and keep us updated as this progresses.  I am in hopes that by the end of the week there will be some information from Jim.  I believe it would be in the best interest of the neighborhood to respectfully and constructively organize our thoughts as a group and have a few representatives and if all is in agreement  having a President and board as is the practice of most organized groups. Depending upon the answers to the questions raised so far as to what step would be next.   Please post any further questions or thoughts as they come to mind.   Respectfully, Nancy

Nancy you make it sound like we are forming this board because we don't want an HOA.  What you are trying to do sure sounds like an HOA to me!  Once we have a board and a president, isn't that an HOA?  Once an HOA gets going whats to keep a board from emplementing dues? Why would we need dues, we have no services to upkeep.  The only thing dues would be used for is to sue homeowners that don't obide by the rules set by the board.  When and where is the next meeting?
