MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD
For the Board of Directors, it has been a busy, but productive, three months. We now have functioning Board Committees with active and involved advisors; we have successfully survived another Grand Prix; and we have completed the hiring process for a new manager.
It would be nice to just sit back now and let the Association run on automatic. However, common interest communities don?’t work that way. There are always new projects to address. The Board is now working on bids and scope of work for the Exterior Maintenance of the building; working on updating and revising the Reserve Study; recoding pass keys to increase security; and updating the personal data records for owners/residents. And, of course, the litigation is ongoing and has had its sixth mediation session with the seventh scheduled for June 2, 2003. Included with this newsletter is the current litigation update for your review. This update is intended for the use of owners who are selling their unit and is a brief disclosure statement on the current status of the litigation.
Also enclosed with this newsletter are two surveys asking for your input. One is for social events and the other is for this newsletter
Fill out these surveys and return to the Front Desk or the Manager?’s Office. The Events and Communication Committee is seeking a broad base of responses so that social events and communications better meet the needs of the community.
We thank all owners for their support during this time of transition. We pledge to continue to work for the betterment of HarborPlace Tower.
