Harrisburg Retail Survey

How about a smart small town?

Thank you again Mark for some good points. I don't have all the right answers, and I'm not here to polarize. To that end it was not my intent to ''mislead'' with the ''non 40%'' statement. The conclusion is still the same: it's a majority of people who completed the survey who do not wish to have large retail (including a home improvement store) within Harrisburg. I would be curious to know how many were undecided on this question but surely the Urban Institute would have acknowledged within the report that 10% or more were undecided on this question if that were the case.

Regarding HarrisburgFirst.org. I get their emails, but that's it. I don't want large retail, but I'm sure my vision is not a majority either. It's one of the reasons we need to look to the survey where there seems to be a concensus on many things, and it wasn't filled out by them alone.
