On 09-09-08 at 10:53 am I called the water company and they advised that there had been a water advisory alert in the vicinity of Westport Road and Ridgeway that has been lifted.  This alert did not effect Woodlawn Park.

George Langford-Councilman

I called about the low water pressure and was told work was being done... that's it. The water company's indifference is alarming.

Rob and others, The indifference is alarming. Good way to put it. Everytime that I called, the actual customer service people on the phone were trying to be helpful, but it seemed that they were not given the tools to be correct. I got different stories everytime. If the water company said there was no boil water advisory for this area, why did they take the time to deliver water bottles to the school? Clearly, this needs to be addressed.

I did not have any issues with water at all during this repair. My friend that lives on Castleview across from Walden did not have water at all and the water company did stop at each house over there informing them of the issue and to boil water. They also told them when the water was back on to use water from the tub etc. before using sinks to avoid debris from the water line clogging their aerators on faucets.

I also saw LWC placing this information on doors. So I assumed that our neighborhood was just on a different line.
