Written comments may be sent to healthinsinquiry@ohic.ri.gov by June 21, 2012 and oral comments may be offered at a public input meeting on June 11, 2012 from 4:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the State of Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission, 89 Jefferson Blvd. in Warwick.

This is to advise you of an important opportunity to share your opinion with the State of Rhode Island Office of the Health Insurance Commissioner (OHIC) concerning the proposed health insurance premium rate increases for small and large employers recently filed by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Tufts Health Plan, and United Healthcare (please click here for a summary of the proposed increases).
 
As part of its review of the proposed increases, OHIC is soliciting public comment on the proposals. OHIC especially wants to encourage members of the public to share their opinions at a public input meeting on the proposed increases on June 11, 2012 from 4:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the State of Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission, 89 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick
