The city is getting ready to conduct a countywide reappraisal of all real property in Davidson County. The taxmen will be coming sometime from mid-March to mid-April. Any improvements to existing homes in Hearthstone Manor will result in extra tax. If you are going to build one of those new-style decks, you might want to hold off until after the reappraisal.The Davidson A.M. section of the March 9th Tennessean has an extensive treatment of this subject.
