September 6, 2001, Heninger Park Meeting Minutes:
1. At the last minute our guest speaker was not able to attend the meeting.
2. Mark Ellis with Village Investments shared with us 2 color schemes proposed for the Heninger Village Senior Apartments. We chose the color scheme using three colors. Mark told us that not only was the building going to be painted but that each apartment was being renovated with new paint, carpets, floors and appliances!
3. Oscar Novelo told us about the Huscroft House now sitting on blocks at Teawinkle Park in Costa Mesa and asked how we felt about the City moving the house to Heninger Park. Jorge Nanni said, ''Let's do it!'' and we all agreed this would be a good thing for the neighborhood, make a great media event, and a family very happy to live in such a large beautiful house.
4. The next Heninger Park Neighborhood Meeting will be December 6, 2001
