HOA Board Elections

Posted in: Hickory Hills

I would just like to publicly state that I would be very interested in running for the Board post that needs to be filled this year.  I have contacted Gasser Property Management via e-mail to let them know that I was interested, but with no response.

I have not seen the ballots yet and if my name is not on it, I would very much appreciate your writing my name in as the ballots will be counted at the Annual Board Meeting on the 10th of May.

I completely understand that the Board can not control unruly teenagers or barking dogs.  But I have always been taught that you might not always be able to help, but you can be helpful.

There should be open communication between the Board and homeowners.  I would be very happy to let everyone know when meetings are scheduled and what happened at said meetings.

If you have any questions for me, please feel free to e-mail me at adriennechapman@hotmail.com or call me at 615-419-2173 cell or 615-758-4801

I'm all for it.  Do you know what position(s) is coming open this time around?  I guess I don't even know what all positions there are.  President, Treasurer, etc.?  I haven't seen a ballot, so I'm not quite sure how it works.  I assume we should all receive them with enough time to fill them out and get them back to wherever they need to go, so we should see them within the next few weeks I imagine.

I still have no idea what positions are available for election as I have received nothing from the board, or Gasser Property Management.

I would just like everyone to vote.  It might not be for me, but we all need to get involved.

I see post after post with questions in reference to where our fees go.  If we all get informed, I think a lot of that will go away.

I know that the Board is a voluntary position and they have day jobs, but we really need someone to check this site and respond to people.  As much as I would love for the HOA to make a neighbors dog stop barking, they can't.  However we can be proactive in enforcing the rules that we all agreed to abide by when we bought our homes in a subdivision that has an HOA.

If I can be of any further assistance, I can be reached via e-mail at adriennechapman@hotmail.com or phone at 615-758-4801 or 615-419-2173.

Hope to see everyone at the meeting on the 10th of May!
