What is going on?!?!?  We pay our yearly dues and what do those that live in Victoria Woods around the Greenspring Terrace and Plum Run Court areas have to show for it?  The grass field, or should I say thigh-high un-kept weed field located by Greenspring and Providence intersection is  ridiculous.  I have seen the Moons landscaping company mowing some areas in the Villages of Crofton, but why not the mess that is continuing to grow and grow and grow and grow in area stated above?!?!?!?  My husband and I feel that if the dues are a bit higher we are okay with paying, but when we don't see any evidence of our payment, we are starting to wonder if we should be like many in the Villages of Crofton that opt not to pay the dues, yet still reap the benefit of snow removal (when applicable) and now grass mowing.  The area that I mentioned above is no longer going to be able to be mowed with a regular mower....it will need a large (more costly) machine.  Our cul-de-sac and surrounding streets take pride in our homes and keep our lawns and homes looking respectable, and this type of lawn care for our area, is NOT ACCEPTABLE.  I am not sure who I will need to contact about this problem.

Sincerely,

A disappointed paying-resident of Victoria Woods!

I have been wondering the same thing! we used to have a page on this site and it has disappeared on who you could contact! You can report the grass to the NCC and it will have to get taken care of! But i did speak to a neighbor who said that the common land was not turned over to the development and was still owned by the builders( capano's)! Not sure if that is still the case or not!

It was our understanding that the common land would be mowed as it had been in the past with the increase of our dues and becoming a "corporation" rather than a "civic neighborhood".  They common land in other areas of this development are cut (Villages of Crofton).  Not liking this one bit and feel like there is nothing we residents who DO take care of our properties can fix this!!!!  Attending meetings hasn't helped with that in the past so that isn't the answer.  We were told to share are constructive grievances, etc on the website, which doesn't seem to be just for Villages of Crofton/Victoria Woods, etc residents, if making the meetings were not applicable.  Well, I've shared my thoughts, and even signed my name, which is needed to assist in knowing if the comments are something to "follow through on".  I know this from my other volunteer positions, etc. and signing your name shows that you are in agreement with your statements and want to see positive actions for your concerns.  If SOMEONE out there knows who we can contact, PLEASE share!!  I was hoping after we have been gone for the long week that when we returned the common area would have been mowed Not yet!!!!

Still a disappointed and a bit disgruntled resident,
