The Highlands Community Alliance is a coalition of neighborhood groups in southeast San Antonio that worked together with The City of San Antonio Planning Department, area residents, area businessowners and other stakeholders, to envision how they want their community to be in twenty years--and to list real and practical action steps to achieve those goals. Highlands Community Alliance members are devoted to implementation of the goals, objectives and action steps included in the Highlands Community Plan.
The entire implementation team meets on the third Saturday of oddly-numbered months (January, March, May, July, September and November).
Each primary member neighborhood association 'hosts' the meeting twice a year. Each meeting is held at a different location in the Highlands area, to allow all organizations and residents to participate.
There are several committees formed for specific concerns, which meet on a regular basis. Please contact the team leaders to learn more about the teams and how you can get involved:
