For many of us here in Baycrest who can't attend the civic association meetings, the newsletter is our primary source of information. Unfortunately, the October newsletter which invited everyone to the 40th anniversary party on October 25th, arrived in the mail on the afternoon of October 25th. Sure, there's no use crying over spilled milk, but maybe there can be better planning in the future?

Late Delivery of Newsletter
We planned it well enough that the newsletter was at the post office nine days before the 25th, with plenty of time for delivery. What we didn't plan on was that the post office would lose them. We called daily in the interim, but they could not say where they were, only that they could not find them. We hastily has signs made up and posted at the main entrances, plus there was a nice article about the event in the Town 'N Country News on the 22nd. That was the best we knew to do. Sorry if you missed it, for it was a good show. |
