The dues increase to $10 per year was approved at the August general membership meeting.
As for the financial statement, I agree with you and this information will be on the back of the agenda for the general membership meetings, listing expenditures for the last 12 months. This should keep the present board, or any future boards, from funding projects that are ill-considered or dubious in nature.
As for the membership remaining constant at 75%, this only happened this year. Last year we got about 70%, but before that it was rather dismal. A few years ago, we only had 65 paid members and were about out of business.
