I'm not sure if this is where I should be or not with this dicussion. There is an abandoned graveyard behind Okolona Fire Dept off Trio Ave. that is not being tended to me and my 9yr old daughter found it sad (it dates back to 1800 and prior some of the head stones are so deterirated there are no names or initials) we cleared as much as we could in the hour we had when we found it and layed some flowers by most of the stones. My daughter and I do not at all mind taking the resposibility of being care takers for this family historic graveyard, but I'm not sure we have the right. I discussed this situation with mt neighbors and they told me they knew of the graveyard they believe it is a whole family & when her boys where in a troop scout they tended to it they are now in there 50's & 60's. Any suggestions or ideas?
