Historic Kenwood

Hi,
Were new to the area. 25th and 3rd St.I had no idea that Kenwood had such a history. Would like more info. For instance who is in charge of crime watch in this location.

Welcome to Historic Kenwood. Your right, we do have a long history. We have done many things to bring this neighborhood up and to promote this area for the future. It can be a lot of things to those who wish to have the experience. All you have to do is jump in and join us.
As for Crime Watch, you can call Jill. She is the head of that. Her number can be found in your newsletter under Board Members.

Come to the next neighborhood meeting on Thursday the 6th of March and you will be able to meet many of the active folks here in Kenwood. Crime watch is led by Jill Smith and our association President, Sandy Ewing. I know they need a ton of eyes around the hood and could use more volunteers and they're always glad to meet new neighbors. Hope you are enjoying the area so far!

You live in a safe area

But don't leave any bikes out in your yard. The 5th house on the south side of 3rd between 24th and 25th street seems to have a bunch of kids stripping them each week. I've seen bikes in the alley behind their house tossed in the trash after being stripped. The older folks living there have been seen drive a car that has no tags on it for the past couple months.
