Historic Kenwood

Hello, all. My wife and I are brand new to the neighborhood, so forgive us if this posting seems redundant in the least. We live on 4th Ave. N. and 26th St. and have noticed an alarming number of speeders on our block (surely not a new issue to many of you). Common sense would dictate that brick streets and high automobile speeds do not mesh well. Obviously these drivers are lacking common sense. Here's the question: short of tossing rotten eggs at passing speeders, or standing in the path of approaching cars, what can be done?

It might take several tries but if you just keep calling the police they will eventually start paying some attention
and maybe ticket a few people.........
there is always hope.
