Hi Neighbors -
My name is Craig Hillegass, and I am interested in serving on the Convenants Committee. I've lived in Evergreen Park Estates since 1985. My two children attended Evergreen schools, and I was a member of Evergreen's Volunteer File Department for over 9 years.
Currently, I work for the City of Arvada as a manager in Parks, Urban Forestry, and Open Space. One of my responsibilities involves working with HOAs throughout Arvada to help resolve many types of issues. Through this work, I have seen how HOAs with strong management and community support really do contribute to the well being of their neighborhoods.
I've also personally experienced what happens when ''new build'' impacts the water tables. Years ago when the property across the street from me was built, my well went dry, so I can attest to the ongoing problems, the inconveniences, and the costs associated with correcting the problem. For this and many other reasons I am very concerned about the future of our neighborhood. I believe it's imperative that Evergreen Park Estates has a full, working HOA Board and Covenants Committee -- a homeowner's association that the community will want to support. I would like to have the opportunity to offer my time as a member of the Convenants Committee.
